Despite all the doom and gloom we have heard lately from the housing sector, the commercial construction market seems to be quite active at the moment - not only have we got sufficient work to be going on with but the level of enquiries during July has been our highest for a number of years!
We currently have projects on the go in Hertfordshire, Essex, Suffolk, Norfolk, Kent, Greater London and Somerset so things aren't too bad yet.
Machine lay enquiries are still coming in and the other growth sector seems to be permeable paving.
Next week we are combining the two by machine laying a five thousand metre car park with permeable paving at the Twickenham Rugby Stadium. The stadium has been undergoing refurbishment for some time but this car park has to be laid in a week to fit in with concerts at the venue and our machine lay system seems to be the only one which fits the bill.
For those who are interested, I'll make sure to get some video of the project up here next week.

Welcome to the Tolly Paving Blog
With this blog we aim to keep our customers and friends up to date not only with what we - as market leaders in machine lay paving - are up to, but what's happening where in our industry.
We're always happy to receive your comments and if you have any queries on any aspect of paving or hard landscaping, either hand or mechanical lay, we'll be pleased to try to help.
Terry & Mark
